The Zydeco band features Mark on vocals and trumpet and Kathy on Zydeco washboard, also called Zydeco rubboard. The band packs the dance floor with not only Zydeco hits, but doubles as a Cajun Band and a Dixieland Band, because they play a mix of styles for everyone. The Second Line Brass Band, Jammin' Jambalaya Band from Orlando performed for a Mardi Gras inspired corporate networking event at the Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island last week. The guests enjoyed the sounds of Jazz, Zydeco, Dixieland, and Funky Brass Band hits. The band performed in the lobby in a stationary setup and then paraded the guests across the lawn with a second line parade, New Orleans style. The guests enjoyed the unique sounds of true New Orleans style music: Jazz, Zydeco, dixieland and Brass Band hits, and the band was the highlight of the evening, with interactive entertainment provided by the Jammin' Jambalaya Band.

The Jammin' Jambalaya Band appears to be a favorite pick for Liquor and Beer distributors this year as they recently performed for a corporate event for Southern Comfort last week. Southern Comfort, whose label reads "The Spirit of New Orleans" requested that the band perform Zydeco and New Orleans inspired music to it's distributors at a afternoon awards luncheon featuring the band. It was a great event, and the band brought the house down with the best new Orleans music this side of the Mississippi.
